Connecting YOU to Jesus Class
“Life is changing faster than ever…but some things never change…”
Life is changing for us faster than ever before! The Internet has changed how we get information and communicate with one another, like never before. For instance, you can communicate with people around the world for pennies a day, receive a college education without ever leaving your home, and find information about almost anything. And yet, admittedly, as fast as life is changing, some things have not changed one bit since God first spoke our world into existence.
Time, for instance…there are still only 24 hours in a day. (Thank God!) Life is a gift of God that still takes 9 months of cell division and development in the womb. People still need food to eat and a roof over their heads and to be loved.
Dr. James Dobson observed in a hospital how love (or the lack of it) played a significant part in the survival of infants born prematurely. He observed that those children who were less likely to survive were ones whose parents didn’t show up every day to hold and love. Surprising? I doubt it. Little ones need love to live, and so do you and me. That’s why God sent his Son into the world…not merely to demonstrate love…but that we might be loved. “God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…for you…so that you might know God’s love.” “This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us.”
I would like to invite you to attend our Connecting You to Jesus Class. In our Connecting You to Jesus Class, you will have the opportunity to meet the God-man, Jesus Christ, who demonstrated His love for you by dying on the cross… you will have a chance to know more about Jesus in an informal setting – to ask questions and find out what We believe at Faith Lutheran. There is no cost (except your time). If you have children, we would like to invite you to enroll them in our Sunday School for all ages. Our nursery is available for your children under the age of 5. Our “Connecting You to Jesus” Class leads to baptism if you are not already baptized, holy communion, and a confirmation of your faith in the Triune God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Upon completion of the Adult Information Class, you will be invited to become a part of our Faith family.
