Nichols, author of The Reformation: How a Book and a Mallot Changed the World, states it: “The Reformation is a much broader event than that singular day. To be sure, the Reformation began on that day. The Reformation, however, spanned two centuries and encompassed a…

Celebrating 75 Years
The Florida-Georgia District began in 1948 with 22 congregations; today, we are 192 strong. Less than 45% of the United States is connected to the Body of Christ, and our state’s population continues growing by nearly 2% per year. God is calling us to “Go and make disciples,” and planting new congregations is essential to reach more with God’s love and the only message of hope! Living As Christ’s Witnesses So That All People Come to Faith “For such a…

My bank sent this note to me!
I don’t endorse many things to our Faith Family, but here is my first endorsement ever. Lutheran Federal Credit Union. I love my Lutheran Credit union. If you have thought about changing your bank or credit union, I give LCFU a TWO thumbs up. They are great to work with. They are a credit union, which means they have “live” local banking wherever you live. They are primarily an online institution, which means your smartphone, iPad, tablet, computer, and, oh,…

Being “Lutheran?” The Lutheran Reformation – 505 years and counting! I am always amazed when people ask, “Lutheran, is that cult?” Especially when you consider there are more than 80 million Lutherans in the world today. Lutherans live in Europe (the largest number in Germany), Nordic and Baltic countries, Asia, Africa (Tanzania and Ethiopia, Nigeria), and South America (mainly in Brazil), with the United States accounting for the largest number. The Lutheran Church is 80 million worldwide, and our branch,…
