Sharing The Gospel with Those in Your Care

Sharing The Gospel with Those in Your Care

Please join the evangelism board for a 5-week bible study called “Witnessing – A Joyful Lutheran Perspective” on Sunday mornings at 8:15 AM in the cafeteria. The first class is on April 19.

Jesus wants us join Him in the joy and celebration of His work in finding and bringing the lost sheep to Him.  We love and care for those people in our lives as we daily fulfil our vocations of family, church, community, and work. At times we have the opportunity to share the gospel with them and invite them to church or bible study. We do the caring and sharing of the good news of Christ’s forgiveness, healing and reconciliation. We patiently allow the Holy Spirit do His work of conversion and growth.

Study topics will include: “What is witnessing all about? What are the Lutheran teachings on witnessing that are faithful to the bible? Why is witnessing a joyful experience done from the perspective of freedom? How do we plant and water but patiently wait for God to give growth? What are some approaches I can take or methods I can use to care and share the gospel with those in my life?”

Each student will get the excellent study book “Every One His Witness” (https://www.everyonehiswitness.org/) written by Dr. Mark A. Wood of the LCMS evangelism office. Each of the classes will have a lecture and group table exercise.

Please join us in bible study and discussion on Sunday.
