Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away at 92. Born in Alton, IL but relocated to Texas to marry Walter and raise her family. Marietta, GA has been home for the last twelve years where she truly blossomed. Her witty personality and banana nut bread will be missed by all. Preceded in death by her husband, Walter, son, Dennis, and parents, Emma and Otto Volz. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Youngs and her husband Pete, and daughter-in-law Norma Angerman; granddaughter Kristy Pena and husband Benito with great grandchildren Branden, Brice, and Tyler; grandson James Bauer and his wife Jessica with great grandchildren Nolan, Remington, and Emma; grandson Wade Angerman and granddaughter Paige Bourg with her husband, Adam, and great-grandson Elijah. “Grandma A” was an honorary grandmother to many more. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 5th from 4-6pm at H.M. Patterson & Son-Canton Hill and A funeral will occur on Thursday, May 6th at 1:00 pm at Faith Lutheran Church, Marietta, GA. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 7th in Austin, TX.
