We give thanks and praise to the Lord of the Church for leading Jessica Shea to accept our call to serve as P.E. Teacher and Athletic Director, at Faith Lutheran Church and School. Please join us this Sunday at the 11 am service for her installation and as we welcome Jessica, Dennis, Kathryn, and Jeremiah to our Faith Family.
Jessica Shea is a graduate of Concordia, Seward, Nebraska. She has completed ten years of teaching. Since graduating, Jessica has served as a teacher in sixth and seventh-grade social studies, eighth grade U.S. History, and sixth through eighth-grade computer class. She has taught kindergarten through eighth-grade physical education, and also taught fourth grade. Six years ago, she coordinated chapel services, working with all the lead preschool teachers and classroom teachers in coordinating opportunities for their classes to lead chapels. Outside the classroom, Jessica has worked with the community outreach coordinator to line up speakers that would talk to the students about the work we are doing in our community. She enjoys the privilege of watching her students grow, not only in their education but also in their walk with Christ.
“I have been married to my wonderful husband, Dennis, for almost eight years. We have two lovely children, Kathryn and Jeremiah. We love being outdoors, whether we are gardening, playing softball, bike riding, hiking, or just playing in the yard. We are excited to see how God will continue to use us as we serve here at Faith.” Jessica Shea
