Ash Wednesday is March 2, 2022
It was nearing the end of the three years of following Jesus. They had headed north of the Sea of Galilee, on the road to Caesarea Philippi, headed for the Mount of Transfiguration. “When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” Matthew 16:15 (NIV) The question was a turning point. After today, Jesus would reveal in clear terms what lay ahead for Him and for them.
Each week, at our Lenten Wednesday worship, we will be asking that question, “Who do you say I am.” This is life’s most important question. One that resonates through history. A question that He asks each one of us: “Who Do You Say I Am?”
Each week we will hear the question asked of a different person who met Jesus. I hope you will be able to join us every Wednesday at 7 PM for worship.
Lenten dinners will be served every Wednesday from 5:30 PM until 6:45 PM. The cost will be $5/person $15 max per family.
It is my hope and prayer that you will be able to join us each week for fellowship and faith as we join together during the season of Lent to grow closer to our Savior Jesus.
Gracious Lord Jesus, as we turn our hearts toward You this Lent season may our time spent in Your Word, worship, and prayer strengthen our faith in Your saving work for us, may we grow in our knowledge of You, and in obedience to You in all things. In Your sacrificing, saving name we pray. Amen.
