Lutheran Heritage Foundation 10/20/24

What is Lutheran Heritage Foundation?

LHF is a Christian mission organization dedicated to translating the books of our Lutheran faith.

In more than 80 countries and 100 languages, thousands of people have come to faith in Christ because they’ve been able to read books like The Good News About Jesus or Luther’s Small Catechism in their own languages.

We’ll hear the story how LHF is preserving and sharing our heritage as Lutheran Christians.

Our Guest Preacher is Rev. Mark Moss, LHF Mission Engagement Associate

Rev. Moss brings a wealth of experience to the LHF staff, including a rich education in translation principles and three years’ Bible translation supervision in Sierra Leone; several assignments as an LCMS theological educator in Nigeria and Ghana; and 20 years’ experience as a military chaplain in the U.S. Chaplain Corps, where he traveled the world and interacted with people and cultures from Bahrain to Japan, Iraq to Alaska.

Please join Rev. Moss for a presentation in the Music/Choir Room between services (Sunday 10/20/2024, 9:45 a.m.)
