Our next outreach event will be June 6th, 2026 10am-noon at the Marietta Square! Special thanks to fellow member Greg Sinatra and Thrivent Avonlea Financial Group for allowing us to park close by at: 249 Cres Cir SW, Marietta, GA 30064… just a block or so south of the Marietta Square Park.
The first Saturday in May a group of us met at Faith Lutheran and walked the nearby neighborhood delivering Mayday baskets, made by our students at FLS, to our neighbors! (see pictures at the end of the post)
Our tasks at Faith Lutheran Church and School are to Plant and Water the Seed of God’s Word. We’ll “Get Out” into the “heart” of our Marietta community: downtown Marietta Square. We will walk around with bottles of drinking water and packages of seeds to hand out -freely!- to receptive souls… with a message of God’s love and tender invitation to Faith Lutheran Church and School. It’s possible that we may even have a “booth” at the Farmer’s Market!
We’ll have all the supplies ready. All we need are members and friends together to give away what God has first given to us. Dress weather appropriate and pray for a beautiful day to be a positive witness to Jesus and His love for all people.
This event is put on by Faith Lutheran Church’s Evangelism Board whose focus is on proclaiming the Gospel to our Marietta community. Outreach is the way we to share the Gospel with those in our community and through the ministries and activities we conduct as a congregation. This is a collective effort and we are thankful for all who join us in this wonderful mission!
