september 19 – sharing & caring festival 
Help Us Share the Love of Jesus
Faith will be participating in an event to feed and clothe the homeless in downtown Atlanta on September 19. We are collecting new or gently used, clean adult clothing and shoes to distribute to those in need.
Items needed:
- Adult clothing suitable for outdoors
- Shoes
- Both summer and winter clothing
- Usable suitcases, especially those with wheels and an extendable handle
Please note: We do not need underwear or socks.
Please place your donations in the narthex or in the bin in the school lobby no later than September 13.
This is a wonderful opportunity to share the love of Jesus with the least among us. The event is organized by Stepping Stone Ministry of Atlanta, an LCMS Recognized Service Organization.

august outreach event – school blessing
We had a wonderful school blessing event with over 50 guests attending. We walked the halls, prayed for all who enter the buildling, teachers and students and their families. We enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and food afterwards. It was a joyous day!
june outreach
The first saturday in June’s weather was fantastic! Fellowship was great and the walk was nice. We talked to a few folks about Jesus and handed out about 30 waters and 30 seed packs with our label on them.

The first Saturday in May a group of us met at Faith Lutheran and walked the nearby neighborhood delivering Mayday baskets, made by our students at FLS, to our neighbors!
