Confirmation is a custom of the church that celebrates the Lod’s Word among those who have been Baptized and instructed (catechized) in the Christian faith. On Confirmation Sunday the youth of our congregation who have completed two years of instruction, will make their confession of faith before the congregation and received into adult (confirmed) membership in the congregation.
Confirmation is not an end of instruction in the faith, nor a graduation. It is an opportunity for our youth to confess their faith publicly and commit to ongoing worship, Christian education, and faithful service to God and neighbor.
