What is a recent “big win”, project or breakthrough that inspired your team?
Our biggest win is the incredible alignment we currently have with our headmaster, which allows our events to seamlessly serve both the church and the school.
What is the most exciting goal on the horizon that your team is looking forward to tackling?
We are excited about having a retreat scheduled for the men & women (separately) in the Spring.
Who’s currently on the team and what unique perspective or background are you looking to add next?
The Family Life Members are Debbie Schellman (years of experience), Rosina Sawh (great ideas), Carol Seelman (artistic vision and school connections), Gisela Lichon (having a “can-do” attitude), Laura Elston (LWML connections and experience) & Linda Couch (Director and brings the party).
What’s one thing about your board’s work that people might be surprised to learn happens behind the scenes?
We love hearing the ideas and suggestions from our Faith Family! It’s such a joy to create opportunities that bring our community together in fun and faith-filled ways. Through fellowship, creative activities and simply spending time together, our hope is to build connections and grow together in Christ.
