Christopher Bradshaw holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master’s in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master’s in Defense and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
He served in the US Navy for twenty years where he deployed to the Arabian Gulf, the Somali Basin, and the western Pacific as an anti-submarine/ anti-surface-ship helicopter pilot.
His shore assignments include Chief Instructor Pilot at Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 40, Strategy Team Leader at US Naval Forces Europe, and as Future Plans Center Director at US Naval Forces Central Command. He concluded his military career by teaching graduate-level courses in strategy and military theory at the Air Command and Staff College. His personal decorations include two awards of the Air Medal for actions against the Somali pirates.
Following retirement, Chris was Associate Director of Programs at Anduril Industries where he sold cutting edge flying robots to US and foreign militaries.
He is husband to a beautiful, brilliant, and very patient woman. Martha and Chris homeschool three of their four wonderful children. The oldest, Isaac, has graduated from homeschool and is enrolled in an elite Honors Cohort at Kennesaw State University.
Martha, as well as her brothers and cousins, is an alumnus of Faith Lutheran School, and her mother, Danette Smith, was a Called Teacher at the school for several years, overlapping with Jon Wareham’s first tenure as principal. For the past two years, Chris has been working with Pastors Ken Wagener and Shaun Daugherty as both Vice President of Faith Lutheran Church and School as well as Chairman of the School Improvement Committee.
He is thankful to God that the leadership of Pastor Shaun and Principal Wareham have placed the school on a great trajectory and couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity to continue Faith Lutheran School’s tradition of Christ-centered academic excellence into the future.
