Louise Weyer Memorial – Thursday, March 11, 10:30 am at Faith Lutheran.
Louise Weyer was called home, Saturday, February 27, 2021, after a short time of hospice care at Tranquility WellStar. Louise was the last “private communion call” I made after the COVID-19 hit, and she was the first institutional call that I made last week since COVID-19 hit.
Louse was born July 11, 1929, confirmed May 25, 1942, and a Faith Lutheran member on July 21, 2013.
If you knew Louise at all, you know she didn’t act her physical age. She was a walker in every sense of the term her email address was: hike875@gmail.com. She served as the teller and led the tellers at Faith for many years. Only recently, when her health changed rather quickly, Louise finally stepped down. She always brought a bright smile to our campus. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving Louse life and our joy to know and serve beside her here at Faith. We rejoice that she is now with You and pray that the gospel’s hope will comfort all who mourn her passing in Jesus’ name. Amen.
We invite friends to join us on Thursday morning in our worship center for a memorial service (mask optional, social distancing) to rejoice in our God, who claimed her in baptism and chose her life to be his temple.
