VBS June 7-11 – 9:00am -12pm
The Wacky World of Water is a Vacation Bible School program that takes a fun and engaging look at water with Bible lessons that teach eternal truths, plus great games, crafts and much more. Kids will learn from stories throughout Scripture that include water—from creation, to the flood, to Jesus’ baptism, and to Jesus’ walking on water…and they might even get a little wet along the way! It was a great Day of Service! 39 people served, not counting the MANY who donated and prayed for the food drive’s success. Outside we trimmed bushes, planted, and much more. Inside we took down old bulletin boards, cleaned storage rooms, a classroom, worked on the 225 bags for the delivery to the food pantry! We will look forward to another workday in the fall! The Coffee Half-hour is returning to Sunday mornings. If seven days without worship makes one weak, what does more than a year without coffee and goodies on a Sunday morning you make you?
