What on earth am I here for? 
It is a great question. It is the ultimate question of life. At some point, every single soul has to answer the question for themselves.
For some, the answer is simple. The unalienable rights found in the preamble to the constitution: “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Depending upon your age and position in life, the answers to that question will vary greatly.
God‘s word offers a life driven by God’s purposes.
Colossians 1:16: “For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels— everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him.” (MSG)
“The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It’s far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God.
