Rev. Shaun Daugherty was born in Seward, NE, where his father taught at Concordia University. In the mid 1980’s, the family moved to Southern California. Shaun attended Lutheran elementary, middle, and high schools. Throughout his childhood, he spent summers in Nebraska, where his grandmother and uncle lived. Pastor Daugherty returned to Nebraska to attend college before attending seminary at Dallas Theological Seminary in Texas.

After completing the pastoral colloquy with the LCMS in 2010, Pastor Daugherty served as Associate Pastor at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Carrollton, TX. From 2013 to 2018, the Daugherty family served as missionaries with the LCMS Office of International Missions in Asia. Following their service in Asia, Pastor Daugherty served the Atlantic District of the LCMS, supporting Chinese Lutheran churches and missionaries in New York City. He them served as Associate Pastor and Headmaster of Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Alliance, NE from 2021-2025 .

Beth grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA. Later her family moved to Charlotte, NC, where she attended the University of North Carolina and studied international business. She moved to Texas in 2003, where she met Shaun while completing a Master’s degree in cross-cultural ministry. Shaun and Beth were married in 2004. From 2007-2012, Beth was the Director of Missions at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Carrollton, TX. She coordinated both local and international missions in her role there, before deciding to stay home with the children full-time. Two of their four sons (Jonas & Silas) were born in Texas. The other two (Zachary & Amos) were born in China.

The Daugherty boys are active in scouting, 4-H, archery, and bowling. They enjoy singing and learning to play the piano. They also have started a lawn-mowing business and are open to most any kind of adventure or service project.

The Daugherty family is passionate about God’s mission in their home, their neighborhood and the world. They are excited to serve the Marietta, GA community and Faith Lutheran Church and School.
